I bought a used domain, built a site with an X server once, completed the theme and plug-in settings, and set free SSL conversion, but I want to switch to the operation with a mixed host, please use the external link below We moved the server along the flow.
How to move from another WordPress server

There was no problem in the server transfer work itself, but I wanted to normalize the URL from www without www to www, and from http to https, so write in .htaccess as follows, relying on the information on the net. When I saw it, I fell into a redirect loop.

# BEGIN Described by yourself
<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
RewriteEngine on
RewriteBase /
RewriteCond% {HTTP_HOST} ^ My site \ .jp $
RewriteRule ^ (. *) $Https://www.My site.jp/$1 [R = 301, L]
RewriteCond% {HTTPS} on
RewriteRule ^ (. *) $Http: //% {HTTP_HOST}/$1 [L, R = 301]
</IfModule>

# BEGIN WordPress
The directives (lines) from # `BEGIN WordPress` to` END WordPress` are
# Dynamically generated and can only be modified by WordPress filters.
# Any changes to the directives between these markers will be overwritten.
<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
RewriteRule ^ index \ .php $-[L]
RewriteCond% {REQUEST_FILENAME}! -F
RewriteCond% {REQUEST_FILENAME}! -D
RewriteRule ./index.php [L]
</IfModule>
# END WordPress

I would like to somehow get out of the current state and include articles on the site, so I would appreciate it if you could teach me.
Thanks for your cooperation.

If i reflect it in the state of .htccess earlier, there is the following description and the page is not displayed.

This page is not working
I've been repeatedly redirected on (my site.jp).
Try clearing the cookies.
ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS
What I tried

・ Delete cookie → site is not displayed
・ I removed the normalization description of http → https in .htaccess → site is not displayed
・ Without .htaccess www without normalization description with www → site displayed

First of all, I tried the above three, but I found that if only the description of http → https is displayed, I wanted to somehow normalize www, so when I consulted with an acquaintance , "Is there a problem with SSL?"

Therefore, I tried to add to wp-config and change the description from http to https with reference to the following external sites, but it is not yet displayed on the site.
I got into an infinite loop when converting Wordpress to SSL (https) on an X server

I know i am very busy, but I would appreciate it if you could teach me.
Thanks for your cooperation.

  • Answer # 1

    http to https

    While writing, the code redirects to http: // ~ when https is on.
    Is it the opposite?

    RewriteEngine on
    RewriteCond% {HTTP_HOST} ^ My site \ .jp $
    RewriteRule ^ (. *) $Https://www.My site.jp/$1 [R = 301, L]
    RewriteCond% {HTTPS} off
    RewriteRule ^ (. *) $Https://www.My site.jp/$1 [L, R = 301]

    However, this is not the cause of the loop.
    Is it a typo, or is there another rewrite designation?

    I don't think it will be a solution
    I hope that you can refer to what I am into.

    I'm sorry because it is not a concrete plan
    If you write R = 301, the cache will remain strongly on the browser side.
    I fixed it and uploaded htaccess, but it wasn't reflected.

    When trying with R = 302, it will be reflected simply by uploading htaccess again.
    I think it's good to try fixing R = 301 when the correction is complete.
    * There are various things such as google does not recognize that it is 302, so eventually it is better to set it to 301.

    301: Permanent
    302: Temporary
