We have set up an event reservation application form using html on the fixed page of wordpress. I don't use plugins like contact form 7. I'd like to limit the number of people using JavaScript, but (for example, I feel like I can't apply after 10 entries) I'm looking for an article if it's helpful on the net, but I can't find it easily. Can anyone please tell me who knows the article that will be helpful?
I found an article like this, but I think I can't use the script type.

    About helpful articles

I found an article like this, but I think I can't use the script type.

This looks like a script that can be used for services provided by companies in this domain.
It is a script that assumes that php will provide the number of registered people.
Whether the feature is too limited and is as a template or article ... (I'm not looking for)

    solution

Create a script (Is it php because I am using WordPress) that counts the number of registrants by referring to the database where the registrant data is stored

Like the reference article above, create a script (js) to output a text notifying that "limit number-when the number of registrants falls below 0" and disable the button etc. ..

Even on the registration form side, do not allow registration when "limit number-when the number of registrants falls below 0".
This is essential for large services and can be omitted for smaller services to prevent the BOM from being modified and the registration button pressed.
