I'm currently wondering whether to learn python or javascript first.
Our programming is a beginner level that only makes quiz games.
I learned javascript with html and css and created an original and simple site using jquery.
Python entered a seminar majoring in artificial intelligence from autumn, and now uses the basics of neural networks and keras.
I am learning about MNIST.
I came to the conclusion that js is for web-based and python is for machine learning, but I'm very confused.
So I have a question
1. 1. Isn't there a small demand for web-based python? Will it grow again in the future?
2. 2. What level of math should I be able to do when going to AI?
(There is no problem at the high school level, but the calculus and statistics in the university range are unclear.
I have only learned matrices and linear algebra up to the basic level. I'm not good at math
I don't have it, but I'm not good at it either. )
3. 3. In the case of js, I would like to learn react and node.js, but I also recommend other things
Do you have
I'm a little late in my third year at university, but I'd like to get a job and work in IT, so I asked a question.
Please answer.

I'm a little late in my third year at university, but I'd like to get a job and work in IT, so I asked a question.
    Please answer.

First of all, please consult with someone nearby, such as the professor in charge.

I came to the conclusion that js is for web-based and python is for machine learning.

How did you come to that conclusion?
Even though it is a Web system, it has a wide range,
It depends on whether it is a back-end system or a front-end system.
Web system = It is premature to decide that JavaScript is good in a short circuit.
Machine learning seems to be generally good in Python.

    1. 1. Isn't there a small demand for web-based python? Will it grow again in the future?

    It depends on the matter.
    Run server side in python
It may be effective to let AI calculate as it is.
Python also has a web framework, so
You can run it on the Web at all,
Projects that want to take advantage of the characteristics of PythonI think it should be used in.

However, many web servers don't seem to have Python running by default, so
The hurdle is a little higher than PHP and Perl.
(PHP and Perl run by default on almost 100% web servers)

    2. 2. What level of math should I be able to do when going to AI?

Not all, but not limited to machine learning
    Mathematical thinkingIs needed in programming.
(The concept of variables is Moro mathematics)
So it's best to be able to do it.
However, even if you can't do math, you can do programming.
(In fact, if you do it, you will acquire it)
I myself was not good at math, but now I am able to do some programming.

    3. 3. In the case of js, I would like to learn react and node.js, but I also recommend other things
    Do you have

React.js and Node.js have different platforms, so
    I don't think it's lined up.
It depends on whether you want to do the front end (React.js is basically here) or the server side (Node.js is mainly here).
    Let's clarify that first.
If you don't know, look it up.

    that's all.
