CSS does not work for the a tag in the p tag.
I'd like to apply CSS to the word PAGE TOP in the footer.
Changing class to id attribute or rewriting it does not apply at all.
And for some reason, when I looked at it with Chrome's verification tool, the CSS at the PAGE TOP of the footer did not come out.
Does this have anything to do with it?

<footer>

    <p class = "page top">PAGE TOP</p>
    <p>

    </p>
   <ul>
      <li>No.6</li>
      <li>No.7</li>
      <li>No.8</li>
      <li>No.9</li>
      <li>No.10</li>
   </ul>

</footer>
  footer {
        width: 100%;
        height: auto;
        background: rgb (47, 47, 47);
        margin-top: 30px;
    }
    .footer_logo img {
        width: 25px;
        height: 25px;
    }
    .footer_inner {
        width: 960px;
        margin: 0 auto;
    }
    .pagetop a {
        color: #fff;
    }
