There is a folder with a database dump. On Linux I launch Mongodb in the middle of Mongo. Everything successfully starts. Further I want to open this database. I write use < path to the > folder; . Does not work. Where the databases are created on my computer either do not understand. What command should I write and where to put that folder with the database to run it?

MONGO command you run the console client. The database is started with the MONGOD command.

Usually the path to the folder with the BZ files is indicated as follows:

    Mongod --dbpath /Applications /MongoDB /DATA /DB

You can also put the database in /DATA /DB if you want to run without parameters.
